Golfbreaks Get Back To Golf Tour

Golfbreaks Get Back to Golf Tour Schedule 2025-1.jpg

The Get Back to Golf Tour is back for a 6th consecutive year with the support of Golfbreaks, one of the world’s leading golf travel companies. The tour was set up in 2020 in the throws of Covid and was initially just to get players through those troubled times, offering competitive opportunities but more importantly to get them out on the golf course and catch up with friends. It was a “stop gap” tour, however given its popularity the tour continued the following year and has been going ever since.

The tour was unique where you could post a score at a nominated venue in a 14 day window, with all the results being released at the end of the 2 weeks. The players loved the flexibility that they could choose their own time to play, and choose their playing partners.

However it’s time for change in 2025…… This year will see 17 x one day events including an end of season grand final at wonderful Dumbarnie Links for the leading players from the order of merit. Each event  will all have a 3 hour tee time booking window where players will have access to the tee sheet to book their own time and choose their playing partners. The scoring will all be done through Golf Genius, with a “live” scoring leaderboard.

The venues have been fantastic over the last 5 years, especially Dumbarnie Links who have hosted the final every year in October. For the last 2 years, the Dumbarnie final has also been supported by Golf Finance Ltd and delighted to say they are back on board for 2025. The Golfbreaks Get Back to Golf Tour is open to ALL Professionals and ALL Amateurs with a handicap of 2 or better.

Previous members who have registered via Golf Genius can update their details on their profile and go straight to the Membership Programme sign up. Those who have never played or registered with the Golfbreaks Get Back to Golf Tour  will need to sign up to register all their details. One off Joining fee for 2025 is £55, however you will receive a 20% “January Sales” discount if signing up before 1st February.

All events are £55 to enter, with the top 20% of the field receiving prize money. In accordance with the R&A amateurs will also receive cash, instead of vouchers.

The tour kicks off at Montrose Links on Friday 18th April, before moving to Leven Links 10 days later.

Have a great year on the tour and hopefully look forward to meeting up with many of you throughout the season.

Best wishes,

Alan Tait – Tour Founder and Organiser
